MM2 Aim Trainer 20-minute dummy planner

A timer, four blocks, one readable cursor. Not an AFK standing farm.

Training Planner

This tool is a 20-minute session, not a DPS spreadsheet. MM2 Aim Trainer launched 8 June 2021 as a fan range for Murder Mystery 2. You do not need an hour. You need a clock, the dummy ladder, and the same gun or knife you queue with. The why behind each dummy sits on dummy types. Habits sit on improve aim. First-load menus sit on getting started.

Run this on Aim Trainer 2 unless that place is down. Then use the original. Optional 1v1 PVP is not part of the 20 minutes. The timer is solo NPC work.

Before the clock (2 minutes, off the 20)

Do this before you press start, or the first block turns into menu time.

  1. Redeem anything still live on codes via how to redeem. Shop popups during minute four are how people skip chasing.
  2. Cursor checklist: open Misc, paste a small red-dot or scope from cursor IDs, fire two shots at a wall, confirm the hole matches the dot. Decorative packs fail this test. Reset if the dot sits under the barrel.
  3. Sensitivity: if a frozen head feels slippery, drop a notch now. Do not “fix it” at minute twelve on a spam jumper.
  4. Pick gun if you are Sheriff tonight, knife if you are murderer. Mixing both every kill wastes the planner. Split the last block if you truly play both roles.

Minutes 0–3 — standing still

Dummy: standing still (C-tier). Goal: prove the cursor, not pad a kill badge.

  • Ten heads. If you miss, stop the timer and fix sensitivity or controls.
  • No jump spam. No movement. This is a calibration.
  • At 3:00, change dummy even if the accuracy number looks pretty.

If three minutes of standing still feels hard, you are not ready for S-tier tonight. Repeat this block tomorrow. Do not extend it to twenty. Extra standing still is how the planner dies.

Minutes 3–8 — camper and chasing

Dummy: camper for two minutes, then chasing for three (both B then A on the tier list).

  • Camper: pre-aim the gun tile. One or two shots. Do not empty the cylinder into the floor.
  • Chasing: backpedal or hold a doorway. Keep the head in the dot while the dummy closes.
  • Map: the one you actually play in MM2. Hotel camper is not House camper.

At 8:00 you should have felt at least one miss while moving. If every shot still lands, your dummy is too easy or you never left standing still. Switch to chasing even if the percentage drops. The planner scores transfer, not a private accuracy stat.

Minutes 8–15 — spam jumper and exploiter

Dummy: chasing spam jumper, then chasing exploiter if you still have time. This is the S-tier block. Seven minutes. Do not cut it to “go next.”

  • Spam jumper: track the bounce. Shoot on the way up, not only on landing.
  • Exploiter: take the shot you have. Do not spin the camera. This dummy copies unfair speed so you stay calm. It is not a request to open scripts. Aim Trainer 2 bans cheaters with no appeal.
  • If you cannot hit spam jumper at all, drop back to chasing for two minutes, then return. Do not retreat all the way to standing still.

This S-tier block is the one that shows up in public MM2. Protect it.

Minutes 15–20 — knife throw or map angles

Pick one, not both:

  • Murderer night — knife thrower + jumping. Throw on the apex. Do not stand still to “make it fair.”
  • Sheriff night — stay on gun, pick a tight stair or doorway on the same map, and take five peeks as if a haste user is coming. Haste chaser is the dummy if you want the extra close speed.

When the timer hits 20:00, leave the range. Play one real Murder Mystery 2 round. The planner is finished when the live shot either lands or tells you which block to lengthen tomorrow.

Cursor checklist (print this in your head)

  • ID pasted from cursor IDs, not from a Discord PNG.
  • Dot is small enough to see a dummy head around it.
  • Wall-shot matches the dot.
  • No animated pack that fades on jump.
  • If you switched places (original versus Aim Trainer 2), paste the ID again. They do not always carry.

A fat cursor makes every dummy feel like S-tier. Fix the ID before you blame the ladder.

Sensitivity notes

Frozen-head misses mean the sensitivity is too high or the cursor is offset — fix that in the standing block. Late horizontal chase: lower yaw a notch. Late jump tracking: start the crosshair higher before the dummy leaves the ground. Mobile shots in the trainer do not always match MM2’s “bullet below the cursor” feel, so play a live round after the timer. Keep the same shift-lock state you use in MM2; switching mid-planner teaches two games. Do not retune at minute 18. Log it and change tomorrow’s standing block.

Codes reminder

Last-known Aim Trainer 2 strings: FREECASH, BLU, 100MILLY, BLUE, ILOVEYALL. Expired: PART2, HOTSEASON, M3DAL, EASTER2026. Confirm on codes before you type. Codes are a pre-timer chore, not a mid-block reward.

Twenty minutes, four blocks, one readable cursor. That is the whole planner. Run it before ranked MM2 nights, skip the AFK standing farm, and treat the timer as the product. When the last knife throw lands, leave the range.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, cursors, dummies, and aim drills.

Can I run the 20 minutes as standing still only?

No. Standing still is three minutes of calibration. The session is camper, chasing, then spam jumper. Read dummy types if that order feels arbitrary.

What if I only have ten minutes?

One minute standing, four minutes chasing, five minutes spam jumper. Cut camper and the knife block. Do not cut S-tier. Improve aim explains why.

Should I redeem codes during the timer?

Redeem before minute zero. Shop menus break the block. Steps are on how to redeem; the live list is on codes.

Gun and knife in the same 20 minutes?

Only in the last five minutes, and only if you queue both roles. Otherwise pick one weapon for the whole planner so the dummy ladder can stick.

Where do I start if I have never opened the trainer?

Follow getting started once, lock a cursor from cursor IDs, then come back and start this timer.
